About my art...
I have had a passion for art since childhood.  My grandmother was an artist and I believe that the need to create has always been a part of me.  Over the years I have explored different types of mediums, however my pieces are now predominantly mixed media using liquid oils.  It took quite some time to refer to myself as "an artist"...but as I've gained experiences both in art and in life, I have opened myself up to opportunities that allow me to share my work. As a busy wife and mother, it has meant everything to have the support of my family and friends to continue to follow my dream.  I know that God has blessed me with so much in life, and I am now realizing that this includes the ability to reach people emotionally through my artwork. Those moments when I see someone smiling from ear to ear or becoming emotional in response  to a piece, at times being told that what began as a simple drawing had been instrumental in helping them through  a difficult experience...this is what makes all of the time, energy and vulnerability of being an artist completely worth it.

I have lived in the Redlands/ Yucaipa area since the age of 3 and have been a part of the Redlands Print & Design "family" since 1999.  I have enjoyed the creative atmosphere and have met some amazing people over the years. I exhibit work at Redlands Art Association Gallery on State St. in downtown Redlands on a regular basis and strive to participate in every local show or festival possible.
